古练权（Gu Lian-Quan），男，1942年2月生，籍贯广东梅州，教授（博导）。


主要工作简历：
　　1964年毕业于华中师范大学化学系。
　　1980年赴美国学习毕业后留校任助教，1978年任讲师。
　　1980年赴美国State University of New York at Albany化学系学习，
　　1981年转入Oklahoma State University生化系任Research associate，1986年任副教授。
　　1998年调入中山大学化学系，1992年任教授，1993年任博士生导师（国务院学位委员会批准）。
　　1986～1987, 1989-1990，1993，1995和1998-1999年又先后应邀在宾夕法尼亚大学和俄克拉荷马州立大学进行有关的合作研究。
　　1997～1998应邀到香港科技大学化学系讲学，2000年应邀到香港中文大学进行合作研究。
　　1980开始从事有关生物化学和生物有机化学研究工作。
　　回国后，一直进行有关生物活性物质的生物有机化学和有机合成的研究和教学，近期重点进行药物化学研究。
　　主持编写高等教育出版社委托教材2部。
　　在国内外重要刊物发表论文90多篇，著作2部，专利3项。
　　现为中国化学会《有机化学》编委，中国化学会广东省分会理事。

负责科研项目：（1984年至今）
　　国家自然科学基金5项，省部项目5项，其它项目3项；
　　教学研究1项（世界银行项目）。

主要研究方向：生物有机化学、药物化学和有机合成。
